How to find us

Cumnor Closes, the football ground of CMFC, is located just outside Cumnor village, to the west of Oxford. The ground is L-shaped and has a total of three pitches: a larger one, used for 11-a-side football, and two smaller ones, used for mini-soccer.

 Directions to Cumnor Closes

Reaching us from the A40:

MAP: Overview of Cumnor

1) Turn off the A40 at Eynsham, following signposts to the Toll bridge (B4044)
2) Cross the Toll bridge and continue down the B4044 into Farmoor (watch out for the traffic camera as you enter the 40 mph zone that effectively indicates that you've entered Farmoor)
3) At the mini-roundabout, turn right (down the B4017, following signs to Cumnor).

4) Follow the B4017 into Cumnor, passing the Farmoor reservoir on your right.

5) The B4017 becomes Cumnor High Street. Follow this until you reach another mini-roundabout.
6) Turn right at the mini-roundabout down the Appleton Road, following signs to Appleton.
7) The road almost immediately bends round to the left, past the duckpond and a garage (on the right-hand side).
8) You then pass the Bear and Ragged Staff pub (recommended!) on your right, after which...
9) ... the road bends to the right. Travel another 75 yards or so until just before the road bends sharply to the left again. On your right you will see a gateway and a gravelled drive with a signpost for Cumnor Closes. Congratulations, you've arrived!
10) If you follow the bend round to the left you will suddenly find yourself driving out of the village, in which case - you've gone too far!
